The recent developments show that there is consistent high involvement of the community and school-based activities at East Side Elementary School – PS 267. The school recently marked a number of events organized by the PTA in spring season. These included a wide range of enrichment programs as well as fund-raising campaigns, which culminated in an entertaining Spring Fling event in the neighborhood. In addition, there have been regular school-based activities and meetings within the community on issues related to academic performance and reading competitions.
