Recently, East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School II drew attention to the increasing number of students enrolled and their involvement in additional programs as part of its network development efforts at East Harlem campuses. The school administration pointed out improvements in literacy and math teaching together with the introduction of programs aimed at preparing students for college. It was mentioned that community participation in arts, athletics, and after-school programs has risen throughout the present academic year.
Q1. How is the admission process carried out at East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School II?
Ans. The admission process is done by a lottery system in case there are more applicants than seats available, with preference being given to returning pupils and siblings.
Q2. Does the school provide any transportation facilities for its students?
Ans. Transportation facilities could be available to some students according to NYC charter school regulations.
Q3. What are the timing and academic calendar of the school?
Ans. The timings at the school would include a longer day compared to other public schools, alongside a standard NYC school year calendar.

Ans. The students would have the opportunity to join academic and art clubs, as well as engage in physical activities that develop their leadership abilities.
