Grade 2 students at Gardiners Avenue School were treated to a performance recently by the band and orchestra students. The process introduced young students to the many sounds, performance techniques and musical options available to them in the future. The older musical students enjoyed mixing with the younger students and encouraging an interest in music throughout the school, and it was a fun peer learning experience.
