May 2026 The air is thick with literacy and community spirit at Locust School. The campus is alive with the hustle and bustle of end-of-year academic assessments and the preparation for the district’s recent passage of the 2026-2027 budget, as well as its annual Field Day events. There’s still plenty of activity at the school as faculty are busy with the “Portrait of a Graduate” curriculum initiatives and working with the PTA to host spring events that highlight student growth and school pride.
