The Ps 255 school recently organized a school-wide “Art Out of Recycled Items” project, where students created artwork using recycled materials. The finished projects were displayed across hallways, showcasing creativity, environmental awareness, and student engagement. The school continues to host interactive Family STEM Nights, including hands-on learning events (like Splat Lab activities), encouraging parent involvement and experiential learning. The school is recognized as a safe and well-managed learning environment, with: High percentages of teachers recommending the school and Strong leadership ratings in surveys. It specializes in supporting students with special needs (especially autism), emphasizing individualized learning and inclusive education
