Alfred Zimberg PS 2 recently launched its “BEARS Lead the Way” initiative to improve student leadership, engagement and school culture in the 2025-26 school year. The campus has also increased its opportunities for STEM enrichment, multicultural events and programs that focus on attendance. It continues to have strong participation from families across the East Elmhurst community.
Q1. Where is Ps 2 Alfred Zimberg located?
Ans. Yes, students are allowed to participate in after school programs such as tutoring, enrichment clubs and recreational programs.
Q2. Are there technology resources for students?
Ans. Interactive boards, laptops and digital learning platforms can be installed in classrooms.
Q3. Does the school support new students?
Ans. Usually the campus provides orientation activities and academic support for students to adjust to the school environment.
Q4. Are parents allowed to join the school activities?
Ans. Yes Parent meetings, school events, volunteer opportunities and PTA activities are some of the ways that families can participate.
Q5. Do arts and music classes exist in the curriculum?
Ans. Students are often taught visual arts, music and other creative learning activities throughout the school year.
