Located in the Harry Van Arsdale Educational Complex, Williamsburg Preparatory School keeps alive its tradition of quiet hallways, strong sports teams and well-behaved teens, supported by a dedicated special education team known for helping students pass Regents exams. The school has double periods of English for freshmen and sophomores with 20 minutes of quiet reading time and teachers are breaking writing assignments into manageable chunks to support literacy. Students start visiting colleges in 9th grade and take cultural trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History, often in mixed-age groups.
