The Urban Assembly School for Collaborative Healthcare welcomed parents of English Language Learners to the 2025 English Language Learners Parent Institute on March 19, 2025 at Fordham University with workshops in seven languages covering immigration rights, support for newcomer students and high school graduation requirements. The sessions provided families training on supporting K-8 newcomers, how to review transcripts, and how to navigate college applications and pathways to graduation. The school’s health curriculum and vocational model still prepare students for the Regents exams June 17-26, 2025.
