Brooklyn International High School at Waters Edge is expanding career pathways through the Future Ready NYC program, providing students with internships and apprenticeships in PK-12 education, along with early college credits and career credentials. The school’s Fab Lab, developed with the Beam Center, provides students hands-on access to 3-D printers, laser and vinyl cutters, circuitry and woodworking tools to increase interest in science and engineering. All students participate in Restorative Justice circles and a Youth Team that hosts workshops to create a more inclusive school culture.
