Being Updated
School for Environmental Citizenship received recognition as a “Respect for All School” in April 2026 from NYC Public Schools for the school’s safe and welcoming environment. Students also took part in environmental science activities with Solar One, where they made working batteries from things like salt water and charcoal. Students were involved in activities such as hands-on learning in the classroom and environmental projects.
