P.S. 315 Lab School Principal Gaby Flores highlighted the school's commitment to inquiry-based learning and community partnerships, such as the collaborative project with CatRock Ventures. Through this partnership, students accessed Washington's Walk to engage in outdoor activities including biking and planting. The school also celebrated student achievements at the BronxWrites Dream Yard Poetry Slam Finals, where the 5th and 6th grade teams secured second and first place finishes. These initiatives, along with science expos and writing celebrations, continue to foster a nurturing environment focused on critical thinking and environmental stewardship for students in grades K through 8.
