P.S. 182 students Suhaa Bakar and Joanna Yankey earned second-place finishes at the District 8 Science Fair. Fifth grader Suhaa Bakar and second grader Joanna Yankey qualified to advance to the borough-wide Bronx Science Fair following their placements in the competition. The science fair recognized student projects and academic performance across participating elementary grade levels in the district. Advancement to borough-level competitions provides students with opportunities to present research and science projects beyond the district stage.
