P.S. 18 John Peter Zenger earned a second-place finish at the Bronx Soap Box Derby held at Seton Falls Park. The school’s student engineering team placed second among 47 competing schools participating in the annual event in the Bronx. Students designed and raced their derby vehicle as part of the competition’s engineering and teamwork activities. Soap Box Derby programs continue to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities connected to design, construction, and problem-solving skills.
