Being Updated
Updates from P.S. 153 Helen Keller show that this school community is active and focused on student participation and development. Students have been engaging in robotics competitions and other activities such as joining student government and arts programs. There have been efforts to involve families more in these programs through fund-raising and other enriching activities for the students.

Ans. After-school programs include academic classes and clubs that are based around reading, math drills, and creative pursuits.

Ans. Depending on their eligibility as per the norms established by the district, transportation may be provided to students.

Ans. Special education services and other kinds of help, as necessary, are provided to such children.

Ans. Reports are made through parental conferences and other modes of communication used by the school.

Ans. As per NYC Public School zoning policy, enrollment into the school is done primarily based on residency within the zone area.
