Being Updated
Jonas Bronck Academy recently expanded its hydroponics lab program, where students grow plants and learn how farming can be done without soil. In this setup, students take part in the full process, from planting to maintaining the system, which helps them understand how things work step by step. While working in the lab, they also learn about topics like food supply and how resources are used in daily life. This kind of activity gives students a chance to connect what they learn in class with real-life situations, making their learning more practical and engaging.
