Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School has recently enhanced its academic programs with increased inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary coursework. The school introduced new student-led projects in social justice, civic engagement and community history. A recent exhibit of student work in writing, research and visual presentations on local and global issues was featured. The college preparatory support has also been strengthened by SAT preparation classes and individualized academic advising.
