Family Life Academy Charter School II is celebrating the successful launch of its “Young Authors” initiative, which saw students publish their own digital books after participating in a series of intensive literacy workshops. Recently the campus hosted a high-energy “STEAM Challenge” day that brought families together to build prototypes with student engineers. The school’s community service club was also recognized for its local food drive that helped dozens of Bronx families this winter.
