Bronx High School for Law and Community Service has recently expanded its legal studies program with new classes in civic education, public policy and debate. The school has instituted mock trial and legal workshop sessions that give students the opportunity to engage in courtroom-style argumentation and analysis. A new community outreach program brings students together with local organizations to examine real legal and social issues. Recent academic showcases featured student research on justice, leadership and civic responsibility.
