Students at William B. Tecler Elementary learned how maple syrup is made in the program Mobile Maple Experience on May 8, 2026. Students learned about New York agriculture, how sap is collected, the equipment used in production, different types of syrup and the connection between local food and school lunch. Students also could taste maple products and learn the topic firsthand.
