Elizabeth Wilhelm Elementary School has brought a renewed focus on building community and getting students involved. The school recently started a number of events, such as holiday fundraisers, art club meetings for older students, and a running club. These events are all meant to bring students, families, and staff closer together.
The school administrators say that these activities are in line with the school's mission, which is to make sure that every student feels valued in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment. Teachers say that the new events have already started to bring people closer together, not just students, but also parents and school staff.
