Q1. How does Tombaugh Elementary use models to teach astronomy?

Ans. Students make simple models of the sun, earth, and moon, watch how light and shadow change, and talk about how celestial bodies affect each other.

Ans. Students compare things, make educated guesses, and then measure to see how close they were. This procedure helps them develop their reasoning skills.

Ans. Students use classroom tokens to "buy" choices, which teaches them about cost, saving, and making decisions.

Ans. Students use picture sequences and guided retellings to map out the beginnings, middles, and ends of stories so they can understand how they flow.
