Northeast Elementary, like all FMS schools, will get its own hands-on STEAM lab as part of the district-wide rollout of STEM Labs. This will bring robotics, coding, and design-based learning to students in grades K–5 in the near future. As part of the new 2025 Elementary Reading Initiative, Northeast's early reading data show that 4th graders are getting better at reading, which is a good sign for improving literacy outcomes.
