Conackamack Middle School recently recognized students who took part in a mock trial of Genghis Khan as an interdisciplinary learning project. Students learned about the legal process and linked the activity to Medieval China. Students played different roles such as lawyers, witnesses and members of the jury. Some of the participants presented their project at a Board of Education meeting and were acknowledged for their work.
