Piner Elementary School, located in Lakewood, New Jersey, is committed to developing a strong academic base for students in PK-2. The school has 428 diverse students with a minority enrollment of 92%, providing an inclusive and culturally beautiful environment. With an 8:1 student-teacher ratio that is favorable compared to the district, your child will learn in a more personalized way. The student body is made up of 54% female and 46% male students, while an astonishing 90% of the students are classified as economically disadvantaged. To help every student succeed, Piner has 53 full-time teachers and 1 full-time counselor working to support children academically, socially, and emotionally. Piner focuses on early childhood education, critical thinking, and creativity that inspires families. However, Piner has the best interest of student development as one of the acclaimed Elementary Schools in New Jersey, committed to creating not only academic excellence, but also inclusivity in the classroom.
