Five Eisenhower Intermediate School students recently became champions at the school’s inaugural Battle of the Books. The event turned reading into a team challenge, with students drawing on shared book knowledge, careful recall, and quick thinking. The winning group showed how library-based activities can build confidence, collaboration, and excitement around reading while giving students a memorable academic competition on campus.
