Q1. What kinds of transportation are available to students at Birch Hill Elementary School?
Ans. The district provides bus service to Birch Hill Elementary School for students who meet the requirements. The service depends on how far away the students live and what routes are open. Parents can also use the school's set traffic pattern to pick up and drop off their kids.
Q2: Does the school have programs for kids to stay before or after school?
Ans. Yes. The district has approved providers that families can use for before- and after-school care or enrichment programs. But the number of spots may change from one year to the next.
Q3: What does the school do to help kids who are new to the area?
The school helps new students learn the rules and what is expected of them in the classroom by giving them help with orientation, guidance, and placement tests.
Q4. Can parents volunteer to help at Birch Hill Elementary School?
As long as they follow the rules for volunteers and get the right clearances, parents can volunteer through the PTO, help out in the classroom, go to school events, and go on field trips.
Q5. What kinds of tech can students use at school?
The district gives students Chromebooks, and they can also use digital learning platforms, classroom technology tools, and computer lab resources to help them learn the basics.
