Oak Valley Elementary School’s Student Council recently organized a sock drive that collected 334 pairs of socks. The donations were delivered to the Siena Francis House to support individuals in need.

Ans. Students learn how to use picture prompts, transition words, and first-next-last language to put simple stories together.
Q2. How does the school teach students about balance in physical science?
Ans. Students use fulcrums to test how the weight of different objects affects balance.
Q3. What do students do every day to stay ready for class?
Ans. Supply checks, folder organization times, and readiness signals are all ways for classrooms to make sure that students are ready for lessons.
Q4. How does Oak Valley help kids learn to think in analogies?
Ans. Through literacy and math activities, teachers help students find relationships like part-to-whole and big-to-small.
Q5. What does the school do to help students read faster?
Ans. Students practice reading at the right speed by doing modeled reading, choral reading, and timed fluency routines.
