The school's staff is being praised for their great work, and students are doing very well in math and English Language Arts. Longfellow students have actually been in the top 5 in the state for English Language Arts for the last three years and number one in math for the same amount of time.

Principal Cory Scheffel is proud of what the team has done and gives credit to the hard work of teachers, interventionists, special education teams, and support staff. The school is also focused on safety and is reminding parents to stick to their end-of-day routines and let the office know about any changes.
