Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Minot, North Dakota, is making people happy and kind! Recently, the school held its annual Giving Tree Food Drive, and students collected an amazing more than six hundres pounds of food to help the school's food pantry, which helps families and students in need.
The school is also honoring its talented teachers, like Codie Renz, a fourth-grade teacher who was a finalist for the Simplot Inspirational Teacher of the Year award. Renz was praised for her commitment to getting to know her students and making the classroom a warm and inviting place to be.
