Winship Elementary School is buzzing with positive energy and community involvement! One of the most exciting things this season is the strong focus on social-emotional support and family outreach programs that are helping students feel connected, confident, and cared for in meaningful ways. Staff from Winship recently spoke to the Grand Forks School Board about how attendance and behavior supports have improved. They talked about how targeted efforts, like setting clear expectations for behavior and using social-emotional learning practices, are creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged every day.
