Being Updated
The Continuous Improvement Plan for 2025–2026 has begun at the Roughrider High Virtual Academy. The goal is to become a Level 5 Certified High Reliability School, which will guarantee the highest quality of digital teaching. The academy now uses Edgenuity to make a curriculum that is unique to each high school student. This lets them learn at their own pace and on their own time, which helps them reach their school goals. Students in the Dickinson Public School District have a unique learning experience that lets them be independent online while still being able to easily get help from local staff and resources.
Q1. What do students at Roughrider High Virtual Academy do to take standardized tests?
Ans. The academy works with district facilities to make sure that students can easily get to the ACT and SAT tests.
Q2. What are the benefits of the virtual platform?
Ans. The digital interface lets students in school change their learning space to fit their own schedules and needs for getting things done.
Q3. Does the curriculum let you interact with it?
Ans. Advanced digital tools and multimedia resources help kids learn hard things in a new way online.
Q4. How is communication managed with instructors?
Ans. Regular digital check-ins and virtual office hours make sure that students get feedback and help with their schoolwork when they need it.
Q5. Can students in school go to events in their district?
Ans. School kids stay in touch with the rest of the community by taking part in district-sponsored events and activities outside of school.
Note: Schedules may change during school holidays. Please contact School for exact Schedule.
