Being Updated
The "Growing Together" program at Jefferson Elementary School in Dickinson, North Dakota, is all about building community and learning through service. Recently, students worked together to make parks and other public places look better, which helped clean up the community. This hands-on project not only made the students feel more responsible, but it also gave them a way to help their community that was important to them.
