Heart River Elementary School in Dickinson, North Dakota, is happy to announce that its new "Outdoor Adventure Learning" program is doing great. The goal of this program was to help students to improve their schoolwork and get to know nature better. Students recently went on a fun outdoor scavenger hunt where they used what they knew about plants, animals, and geography in their area. The program encourages students to learn by doing, which makes science come alive in the world around them.
