A few weeks ago, third graders and their families at Sunrise Elementary School worked together on a science project. They made model houses that could stand up to the wind. Families had a lot of fun at this event and learned about science at the same time. Being with their families made them think about basic design and engineering ideas. Their families were amazed at how creative and well the kids worked together. This showed how important it is for people in their communities to work together to make learning fun and useful.
