About PIONEER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Pioneer Elementary School is a public school in Bismarck, North Dakota that serves kindergarten through fifth grade students in a small city. The school has about 202 students and 17 full-time equivalent teachers, which means that there is one full-time school counselor for every 12 students. This is better than the district average. Pioneer Elementary School's academic programs focus on teaching students the basics of math and reading, as well as science, social studies, and the arts. Based on the data we have, about 37% of students did well enough in math to be considered proficient, and 32% did well enough in reading to be considered proficient. This shows where they need to improve academically. There are 50% female and 50% male students in the school, and about 65% of the students come from low-income families. This shows that the community needs a lot of help. The amount of money spent on each student at a school is not made public, but it does follow state and district rules. Overall, Pioneer Elementary School is a supportive and close-knit place to learn. The class sizes are good, which gives students chances to improve their grades and grow as people.

Pioneer Elementary School is buzzing with excitement over a new character and school spirit program that is already having a big effect on the school community. Pioneer started its Panther House System this fall. It's a new way to build community and encourage good behavior in all students. With this system, students join "houses" that encourage teamwork, kindness, respect, and responsibility. They get recognition for actions that show these values. The excitement from both students and their families has spread, and students proudly tell stories of helping their classmates, taking charge, and making smart choices that make them proud to be Panthers.
