Being Updated
The Northridge Giving Tree project at Northridge Elementary School is a heartwarming school-wide effort that brings together families, staff, and neighbors to help local families during the winter. Students and their families gave gifts, cards, and other things they needed that came from the heart. This made all the students and staff at the school feel kind and generous. This tradition not only made the holidays better for people who needed it, but it also taught students how important it is to help others and give back. Along with the Giving Tree, Northridge has been honoring students for their hard work, creativity, and kindness with school raffles and programs that celebrate their achievements and community involvement. These fun things make students more proud of their school and excited to go there. They also know their teachers and families are there for them.
