About CENTENNIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Centennial Elementary School is a public school for kids in Bismarck, North Dakota. It is a small city school that serves kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school has about 392 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 13:1, which is better than the average for the district. This makes it possible for classes to be smaller and for each student to get more attention. Centennial Elementary School has about 29 teachers who work full-time and one school counselor who works full-time. Centennial Elementary School puts a lot of emphasis on making sure kids have a strong base in math, reading, and writing. According to U.S. News, about 57% of students were good enough at math to be considered proficient, and 45% were good enough at English Language Arts (ELA) to be considered proficient. The results show that the performance has been steady and in line with what the state wants. Half of the students are girls and half are boys. About a quarter of the students come from families with low incomes. Minority enrollment makes the school community a little more different. In short, Centennial Elementary School is a good choice for families in the Bismarck area because it has a safe learning environment, good class sizes, and steady academic results.
