The new school year at Bismarck Elementary Virtual Academy is off to a great start, with lots of community involvement and new energy. The Virtual Academy is one of the many flexible and creative ways that Bismarck Public Schools offers for students to learn. It uses technology and careful teaching to give each student a unique, high-quality way to learn from home.
Q1. What kind of school is the Virtual Academy?
Ans. It provides online elementary school lessons for families who want to learn in a more flexible way.
Q2. What kind of technology do you need?
Ans. Students usually need a computer or other device that can connect to the internet and some basic software.
Q3. How do teachers talk to their students?
Ans. Teachers talk to each other through video calls, assignments, and messaging apps.
Q4. Are there any optional activities?
Ans. There may be virtual events or clubs all year long.
Q5. What help do new students get?
Ans. Families can learn about schedules and expectations during orientation sessions.
