Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Konnoak Middle School campus. Philo-Hill Magnet Academy has been renamed and rebranded back to its original name, Konnoak Middle School, for the 2024-25 school year after extensive renovations totaling $41 million. Superintendent Tricia McManus spoke about the importance of the day, a big step for students returning to the modernized building. The school band performed at the event.
