Casa Esperanza Montessori Charter School in Wake Forest, North Carolina is a warm, family-centered K–8 school where students are taught to fall in love with the art of learning. It is heavily influenced and guided by the Montessori philosophy, the school encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for discovery. Students can choose between Spanish Immersion or Spanish Enrichment programs, helping them become confident bilingual learners. Classrooms are lively with lessons that make learning meaningful and engaging. Teachers know and care for each child as student-teacher ratio is 17:1, which is the same as that of the district making it to the top schools in North Carolina. With a diverse student body representing over 30 nationalities, community and inclusivity are central. Students are encouraged to dream big, show respect, and develop a lifelong love of learning, with strong proficiency in reading and math as 55% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 63% scored at or above that level for reading.
