The Raleigh Charter varsity girls soccer team finished an undefeated season (20-0-1) with a 2-1 win over Kernersville Bishop McGuinness in the NCHSAA 1-A state championship at North Carolina State University’s Dail Soccer Field. Senior midfielder Abby Rhodes scored the game-winner in the 63rd minute off an assist from Grace Nipp, who was named the championship Most Valuable Player.
