At Durant Road Middle School, everyone is very excited! The school's Agriculture Program has begun a project to build a pollinator garden. The goal is to teach students how to protect the environment and give important pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds a place to live. The school is doing this project to help students learn by doing and to get them to care about the environment. Students will plan, build, and take care of the garden while learning about the plants, pollinators, and ecosystems in their area.
