Selma Burke Middle School held its first FIRST LEGO League Regional Qualifying Tournament. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to STEAM education, focusing on robotics, engineering and teamwork in problem solving. Hosting the competition was also reflective of growing community partnerships and support for STEM-focused learning opportunities. In a bid to showcase their innovation, teamwork and technical prowess in robotics competition, student teams were pitted against each other in the tournament.
