Greenwood Middle School eighth-graders recently participated in a hands-on career exploration event designed to expose them to local vocational opportunities. The event was a chance for students to interact with professionals from a range of sectors including healthcare, technology and public service. This effort is meant to help students match their academic interests to future career paths before they proceed to high school. The program is a component of Wayne County Public Schools' commitment to workforce development and student readiness.
