Meagan Damore, a first-grade teacher, got an APSF Shoutout from Salem Elementary School in recognition of her contributions to the school community.
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) has put forward a plan that will affect schools like Salem Elementary. The goal is to ease overcrowding and even out student numbers across schools. If the plan is approved, some students from Laurel Park Elementary School will attend Salem Elementary in the future.

A.ns The Falcon is our mascot, and our colors are blue and gold.
Q2. What does the school do to support exercise and health?
Ans. To encourage healthy habits, we have regular PE classes, outdoor recess, fitness activities, and health programs.
Q3. Does the school have any environment or sustainability programs?
Ans. Yes, students are involved in recycling, gardening, and energy conservation.
Q4. How does Salem Elementary School use tech for learning?
Ans. To improve learning in the classroom, students have access to Chromebooks, interactive white boards, and online learning tools.
