Gary Road Intermediate School in Jackson, Mississippi, is making waves with its new projects! The school is currently raising $500,000 to build a new building on one of its campuses. This will help with overcrowded classrooms and make the school a better place to learn. This big project shows how dedicated the school is to giving students a good education and making the buildings better.
The school has also been celebrating the successes of its students, such as Lathan Davis, who got perfect scores on the MAAP tests. Gary Road Intermediate School has also been working to get people involved in the community through events like the School Wide Fun Run fundraiser and honoring great teachers like Kendra Wright as Teacher of the Month.
