Being Updated
In January 2025 the St. Cloud Area School District 742 unanimously approved new attendance-zone boundaries affecting three south-side elementary schools — including Lincoln Elementary. Families living in certain areas will be reassigned to Clearview Elementary School beginning with the 2025-26 school year in order to balance enrollment and relieve space constraints. Existing students at Lincoln Elementary may remain under a waiver option, and transportation will be provided for those impacted. The decision reflects broader district planning and community input regarding facility use and student population shifts.
