As part of the Osseo Area Schools district, Rush Creek Elementary School in Maple Grove, Minnesota, is a public school for students in grades Pre-K through 5. The school has about 740 to 750 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 17:1. It provides a structured learning environment and, when possible, individualized support. There are students of all races and ethnicities in every grade level, including White, Asian, Black or African American, and multiracial students. Rush Creek Elementary has a well-rounded academic program that includes strong instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social-emotional growth. The school also has a Gifted and Talented program, learning with technology, and chances to learn more in all subjects. State test scores show that students at Rush Creek do much better than the average student in Minnesota. The school's math and reading proficiency levels make it one of the best elementary schools in the area. One of the best things about the school is that the community is involved. Parents are active, volunteers help out, and the school has a good atmosphere. Rush Creek Elementary School is known for its high academic standards, supportive environment, and well-rounded approach to education.

Rush Creek Elementary School recently made big changes to its buildings, such as adding new classrooms, media centers, and maker spaces. The district also said that there would be new school-assignment lines for 2026–27 to keep the number of students in each school the same. These changes show that the school wants to make sure that Maple Grove students get a good education and have a safe and welcoming place to learn.
