As part of the district's improvement plan, Basswood Elementary recently made important upgrades to its facilities, such as modernizing classrooms and making learning spaces better. The school also held a Veterans Day program that was well-attended. It included student performances and a guest veteran speaker, which helped the community get involved and made the students' learning experiences better.
