Dr. Heidi Miller has been named the new principal of the school, starting on July 1, 2025. Miller has been a school administrator and literacy leader for more than ten years. Before that, he was the principal of Hassan Elementary School. District leaders pointed to her strong track record of improving school culture, helping staff, and getting families involved. Miller is excited to join the Prairie View community and has said that she will work to help every student become a better reader and encourage creativity and new ideas in the classroom. As Prairie View continues to focus on personalized learning, enhanced programs, and a welcoming learning environment, the change is happening. The new leaders are expected to build on what the school does well and help it grow and develop in the next phase.
